Not a cookie cutter approach
I was in a highly visible, strategic, and key role within the organization and it was imperative that my team and I were successful. As a result, I was given the opportunity to participate in the Stakeholder Centered Coaching Program with Kerry.
Kerry set up an environment that built trust and safety and I was comfortable confiding in her. It was a safe place where I could share and vocalize the problems we were having as a team and she was able to guide me through each situation. Her guidance was sometimes coaching (asking questions, clarifying, etc.) and other times advisor (suggesting, providing tools, etc.). The participation in the program also gave me the opportunity to be upfront with my team while demonstrating my willingness to change. This allowed me to model what I was looking for from them.
The program was successful for myself and even more importantly for my team. If you are considering getting a coach, I suggest you consider working with Kerry. She does not have a cookie cutter approach, she will get to know you as a person, will encourage you to find the answers, and provide support including many tools that will ensure your success.
